Safari Njema rose from the need of visitors to Africa who want to experience the wilderness of Africa with a professional company that is owned and operated by a trustworthy and professional outfitter.

In my years of hunting, I have seen small outfitters start up and successfully grow into large companies. However, it is so easy to lose the human touch, the personal touch that is the reason why they succeeded in the first place. I am committed to never losing sight of the fact that you deserve my total focus and attention.

My family arrived in Africa in the late 1650’s, so my roots are embedded deep in the rich African soil. I was born in 1967 and raised on my grandfather’s farm, where I developed a love for animals and the bush. I have guided many successful and happy clients on dangerous game hunts for lion, buffalo, elephant and leopard in South Africa and Tanzania as well as numerous plains-game hunts. From hunts in countries such as Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana and Angola I have gained invaluable experience and knowledge of Africa at its best and it’s harshest. I pass these insights and experiences on to my clients, to ensure the best possible bush adventure, allowing them to leave Africa fulfilled and knowledgeable, with a hunger to return. But please don’t think that I only cater for the advanced hunter. I love to share my passion with the first time hunter, as well as families and children on their first experience of Africa. It is with them in mind that Safari Njema was born.

All our safaris are tailored to suit your needs. We offer fully customised packages to meet your needs. We cater for the very experienced hunter wanting a specialised safari in Africa or personalised photographic safaris or a bush experience for you and your family.

Safari Njema has secure concessions in three areas in South Africa, namely the Limpopo, the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal. We have carefully selected partnerships with renowned lodges to ensure your comfort in the best accommodation while you experience the uniqueness of Africa, with all its incredible sights, smells and sounds. We also conduct exciting hunts in Namibia and Tanzania.

Some of Africa’s most recognised national game parks are within easy traveling distance where the Big Five can be seen. The camps have electricity, en suite toilets and bathrooms with hot and cold running water, a daily laundry service and tasty meals catered to your special dietary needs. A special cool box is packed on the vehicle every day with cold drinks and snacks.
